Rudy or Rhodes?

[name_f]My[/name_f] vote is for [name_u]Rhodes[/name_u] , but I also think [name_u]Rudy[/name_u] could be a sweet nickname !

Short answer: [name_u]Rudy[/name_u]

More below if you care to know why

Agree with @daisydream about the negative connotations of [name_u]Rhodes[/name_u] (that is, [name_u]Cecil[/name_u] Rhodes), though the sound is nice—maybe [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m], or [name_u]Brody[/name_u] would appeal?
Though [name_u]Rudy[/name_u] Giuliani has been in the news a lot lately (not in a good way), he’s not the only [name_u]Rudy[/name_u]!

Yes, I meant exactly what @Halloween_Jacqueline said. And also I agree that the [name_u]Rudy[/name_u] Giuliani reference is not great but it isn’t the first thing I think of when I hear [name_u]Rudy[/name_u], unlike with [name_u]Rhodes[/name_u] where the first thing I think of every time is [name_u]Cecil[/name_u].

[name_u]Rhodes[/name_u]

Hmm I think of the movie Rudy. I wonder how other guys perceive this name based on the popularity of the movie… I’ve heard that it’s the only movie that guys are allowed to cry during lol.

Personally I love the nn Rho but not the nn Rue. So I’m picking Rhodes.

[name_f]My[/name_f] heart says [name_u]Rudy[/name_u], but my practical side worries that it’s a bit too little-boyish for a grown man. Idk. Obviously, it hasn’t hurt Mayor Giuliani, though!
