Is this too far of a stretch?

Any other names that would lend themselves to nickname [name_u]Rue[/name_u] that aren’t [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] or [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]?

I think [name_u]Rue[/name_u] is very cute. I think it works for [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. You may also like [name_f]Rowena[/name_f], [name_f]Eurydice[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or [name_m]Rooney[/name_m].

I think [name_u]Rue[/name_u] works as a nickname for [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. Honestly I think you could get away with it with pretty much any “R” name or any name with a strong “ooh” sound in it - like Louise, Julia, Lucia, and so on.
