Running out of time! Opinions are needed!

Hello Berries! I think I’ve finally settled on a name. Emphasis on “think!” :wink: However, I don’t want to sign my little one up for a life time of correcting people. So, I need to know;

There are at least three different ways to pronounce [name_u]Tegan[/name_u]/[name_u]Teagan[/name_u], I also know how I want it pronounced. Sooooooo, at first glance, how would you pronounce it?

Also, I’m torn on which spelling I prefer. [name_u]Tegan[/name_u] or [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] for a little girl?

Thanks, Berries!

I love [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] for a little girl!
In order I like
[name_u]Teagan[/name_u]
[name_u]Teegan[/name_u]
[name_u]Tegan[/name_u]

I prefer [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] spelling and pronounce it like tee-gan. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] choice!

I prefer the spelling [name_u]Teagan[/name_u], and would pronounce it “tee-gan”

I prefer [name_u]Tegan[/name_u] - pronounced tee-gan. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name!

I pronounce both “tee-gan”

I’d pronounce both Tee-gan but prefer the [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] spelling. It seems more straightforward. I don’t pronounce [name_f]Megan[/name_f] like Mee-gan so [name_u]Tegan[/name_u] seems odd to me. I know someone who named her baby [name_u]Regan[/name_u] thinking it was clear you pronounce it [name_u]Ray[/name_u]-gan. She said she spelled it like [name_f]Megan[/name_f] so it would be pronounced the same. Trouble is she pronounces [name_f]Megan[/name_f] like [name_f]May[/name_f]-gan, and not everyone does.

I pronounce it Tee-gan. I knew two growing up and both pronounced it this way. Were you thinking of pronouncing it differently? You/she might be correcting a lot of people if you are. I think I prefer the [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] spelling.

I pronounce [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] (preferred spelling) TEE-gan.

I love [name_u]Teagan[/name_u]! It is one of my top 10 girls names.

I like the spelling [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] better. I also think it’s more familiar and therefore there may be less mistakes in spelling/writing it. I say it “TEE-gin”.
