Ryaca (Prounced Ry-a-ca) or Ryka -- Is it too crazy?

I am looking for a name to honor my dad. He had always liked the name America - pronounced Am-mer-rye-a-ca. His name is Ricky. I would love to honor him by using the name Ryaca (prounounced Ry-a-ca) as a middle name. I just don’t know the best spelling or if this sounds too off the wall.

I have thought about Ryka. I am in the process of adopting so I like the meaning of the name-born out of prayer.

Ryka is easy to say. I think Ryaca would be hard for people to say correctly. Maybe Ryaka?

I don’t really like Ryaca very much to be honest. But I do think [name_f]Ryleigh[/name_f] is cute so I think I could get over it. Ryka I like ok, its just that I find it a little harsh sounding.

Ryaca is quite nice but I do significantly prefer Ryka

I never even thought about [name_f]Ryleigh[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] dad’s middle name is [name_u]Lee[/name_u]! I love that!!!

Between Ryka and Ryaca, I prefer Ryka. Ryaca is a little hard to say and might be too out there for some. Ryka is okay, but I feel like there are some other names that could still honor Ricky that might be better. Maybe something like Rockelle / Raquel or Roxanne / Roxana would be a good alternative? Then she could go by Rocky or Roxy, which is a cool twist on Ricky.
