Ryann or Riley?

I am not currently pregnant, but plan to be trying for a family in the next year. So, my fiance and I have been tossing around name ideas. We both like the more unisex type of names that are still feminine, but not overly. We plan to dainty it up some with more feminine middle names.

Anyhow, as of right now we are undecided between [name]Ryann[/name] and [name]Riley[/name].

We already have middle names picked out as well, but are open to suggestions for them, as well as similar first names.

So, as of right now, we have it down to these:

[name]Ryann[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mae[/name] ([name]Hubbard[/name])

OR

[name]Riley[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mae[/name] ([name]Hubbard[/name])

All thoughts and suggestions welcome! Thanks!

Of the two, I like [name]Riley[/name] more. [name]Riley[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is a nice choice.

[name]Hi[/name]!

I prefer [name]Riley[/name] over [name]Ryann[/name], and think that the flow of [name]Riley[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mae[/name] [name]Hubbard[/name] is slightly better… You may also like [name]Romilly[/name] and/or [name]Rhiannon[/name]…

My suggestion? Stop stealing boy names.

If you want to give your girl a strong surname sounding name, there are plenty of options without pecking at the boys list. I suggest:

[name]Greer[/name]
[name]Blair[/name]
[name]Bronte[/name]
[name]Lynn[/name]
[name]Tatum[/name]
[name]Tawny[/name]

if they like it why wont they choose it?

I both like them but i like [name]Riley[/name] a little better  [name]Riley[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mae[/name] flows really weel (as does [name]Ryann[/name] but like the sound or [name]Riley[/name] better)

[name]Riley[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mae[/name] sounds better

[name]Riley[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mae[/name]

[name]Ryann[/name]!

If your wish is for a unisex-type name that is feminine but not overly, I think [name]Riley[/name] is better. I don’t think [name]Ryann[/name] is feminine at all, even with the extra ‘n’. [name]Ryan[/name] is still such a common boys name that it doesn’t seem unisex to me.

[name]Riley[/name] is not my usual style but I can definitely see it’s appeal. It is lovely with the middles you’ve selected and has a feminine sound. Some other ideas you might like (just for fun!):
[name]Avery[/name] (this has always seemed feminine to me)
[name]Barrett[/name]
[name]Tatum[/name]
[name]Kendall[/name]
[name]Bailey[/name]
[name]Ellery[/name] (but not with [name]Elizabeth[/name])
[name]Teagan[/name]
[name]Delaney[/name]
[name]Hayden[/name]
[name]Sloane[/name]
[name]Connelly[/name]

Good luck!

Thanks everyone for all of the feedback! I think I tend to lean more towards [name]Riley[/name] as well.

Thank you to all who left suggestions as well! I really like a lot of the ones that you have posted. But my fiance is very hard to please. In the beginning stages he exed off anything that was too girly or too different than the same run of the mill names he is always used to hearing. (He actually tried to sell me on [name]Haley[/name]! Ick!) So, after many names and much deliberation, we’ve narrowed it down to these two that we both really like. BUT! Maybe all of you nameberries can help me come up with some other names that we may like. It could be a daunting task. haha

Thanks again everyone! I really appreciate it!
