s and z sounds - too similar?

Would these name combos work even with the “s” and “z” sounds at the end of first name and last name?

[name]Charles[/name] Martinez
[name]James[/name] Martinez

I think they work fine! I prefer [name]James[/name] to [name]Charles[/name], but both are nice. Good luck!

I don’t think the similar ending sounds are a problem. My first and last name both end with the “ee” sound, and I think it sounds fine.

[name]Hi[/name]! The s and z sounds are similar, but not too similar to me. If it were [name]Cruz[/name] Martinez, that would be one thing, but I really like [name]Charles[/name] or [name]James[/name] Martinez! (I forgot to vote for [name]James[/name]! One more vote for [name]James[/name] Martinez!)

The s and z repeating doesn’t bother me at all, but what I am bothered by is the repeating ar sounds in [name]ChARles[/name] and MARtinez.
I would go with [name]James[/name]!
