Sabrina or Catherine?

WDYT of [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]? Are they elegant and timeless or just boring? thanks!

I really like [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f]. It is classic but still has a unique feel. [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] to me is a little boring but it is timeless.

I really like both. [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is more “classic” to me and I adore it, but I also like the fact I had never met a [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] until this semester at school. [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] is rarely used in my area, which is a shame!

Both beautiful names! [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] feels more sophisticated and chic. [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] us more regal and sweet.

I actually love both names, but [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] seems far more common. I also never hear it used in its full form (my favorite use of this name), usually either K/[name_f]Cate[/name_f] or [name_f]Cathy[/name_f]. On the other hand, I have only met one [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] in my life, and it calls to mind a playful, flirty, sporty type of gal.

[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] are both lovely, elegant and feminine. [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] makes me think of the [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn movie and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] sounds very regal, bringing to mind countless literary characters, and royals and ladies of old. [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is definitely timeless but [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] feels rather modern to me- it was rarely used before the 20th century.

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is a classic, and with [name_m]Will[/name_m] & [name_f]Kate[/name_f] in the news so much lately we’ve been hearing [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] quite a bit this year.
[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] however is easily recognized, but I don’t think it feels dated or popular.
I’ve actually never met a [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] (Though I did meet a [name_f]Zabrina[/name_f] once).

Can’t go wring with either, but I like [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] better since it feels more fresh.

I like both names. I could see some people thinking [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is boring, but it’s one of my absolute favorites. I know 4 [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f]/Katherines that go by their full name, but no Catherines, which is my favorite spelling.

I’ve never met a [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f], but it’s spunky and unique without being weird. I like the possibility of [name_f]Brina[/name_f] as a nickname, too.

I love [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. While I don’t love [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] personally, i have a deep appreciation for it as an elegant underused gem. I’d be really excited to meet a baby [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f].

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is elegant and timeless, a true classic I love.

[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] is a fun name and of course I picture [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn.

Personally, I would much rather be named [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], but don’t care for [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f]… Or [name_f]Sabina[/name_f]! [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is too common for me.

I prefer [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f].

Honestly I think both names are very different styles. [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is old fashioned, timeless and classic, whereas [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] is more modern and spunky.

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is classic, but a bit boring. [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] sounds a lot more modern.

I find [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] cute in a pixie-ish way and it reminds me of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn while being much more likable/melodious in sound than [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Katharine[/name_f] much more than [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. (But [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] more than [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] or [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f])

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is my all time favorite name!

I prefer [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f]. I have a lot of respect for the name [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] but it has never ‘wowed’ me. [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] is so much more beautiful and feminine to me.

[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is one of my most favourite classic names ever, so my instinct is to vote for [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]. It’s beautiful and elegant, though very popular. On the other hand, I just adore the meaning of [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f]! It also sounds pretty and definitely more unusual. I only know one [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] in my life and she’s my age. Sorry for not helping. :stuck_out_tongue:
