Sacha?

[name]Just[/name] pondering here… (for those of you who don’t know, I have an as-yet un-named baby girl.) Taking a break from stressing about her name to think about our boy name.
Had DD been a boy, she would have been [name]Asher[/name] [name]Vale[/name], or possibly [name]Lucien[/name] [name]Vale[/name]. ([name]Vale[/name] is a family name, important to continue)

Now that I’m thinking of using [name]Aster[/name] for DD, I’m thinking of what it will mean to give up [name]Asher[/name] should we have another boy. (DS#1 is [name]Gabriel[/name]). [name]Lucien[/name], although I love it, rhymes with our last name, so probably would not actually be picked for theoretic boy #2. Plus, I’m not keen on [name]Luke[/name], although [name]Luca[/name] is great.

Which brings me to our third string boy name- [name]Sacha[/name].
Some people recoiled in horror at the thought of [name]Sacha[/name] for a boy, so I wanted to see what the nameberry population thinks of it.

Is it useable if we give up [name]Asher[/name]? (we are not French, if it makes a difference) I [name]DO[/name] NOT [name]EVER[/name] want to go through naming again! (I’ve already agreed that theoretic DD #2 can be [name]Thea[/name], no discussion needed. I’d get used to it for a theoretic baby, it just doesn’t work for the already born one.)

Also, how’s [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Aster[/name] and [name]Sacha[/name] for a sibset?

[name]TIA[/name]

[name]Sacha[/name] to me is a little soft sounding with [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Aster[/name].

[name]Sacha[/name] by it’s self conjures up the image of a handsome foreign exchange student.

[name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Aster[/name] and - these are all just my opinions of what I think would work.

[name]Donovan[/name]
[name]Dominic[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name] ?
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Kellen[/name]
[name]Leon[/name]
[name]Malcolm[/name]
[name]Preston[/name]?
[name]Rogan[/name]
[name]Stellan[/name] - I’ve seen this suggested here and think it’s great!

I agree with Disa. Maybe you could use [name]Alexander[/name] nn [name]Sacha[/name]?

We have a male [name]Sacha[/name] in our family and it suits him well. [name]Sacha[/name] is the nn for [name]Alexander[/name] in [name]Russia[/name] but in our case [name]Sacha[/name] is his full name.

I love the spelling you have here, really authentic.

I would be leaning more to [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Aster[/name] but then you get the ‘A’ initial twice in a sibset which I would avoid.

There a tons of Sachas in [name]Russia[/name] male and female, and I think it is a lovely name.

I don’t like it in the sibset you have already.

[name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Aster[/name] sounds much better imo
