Sadie or sydney?

I love both of these names and they’re very similar. In my experience, I’ve met more Sydney’s than Sadie’s but I don’t think of that as a bad thing for either of them. What’re y’all’s opinions?

I have a personal negative association with [name_u]Sydney[/name_u], otherwise it’s nice too

I’ve only met Sydney’s and it’s not the best association. Never met a [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] but it feels warmer and more welcoming.

I love Sadie’s warm feel!

I love the cute, friendly feel of [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] but both are nice

I prefer [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] but I like them both!

I’m from [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]Zealand[/name_u] and, being so close to Australia, [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] is all place name to me (same with Adelaide). So lovely [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] it is.

(Although I do like it for a boy as Sidney)

i know so many Sadie’s and no Sydney’s! i prefer [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] personally, but you can’t go wrong either way.

[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] is absolutely charming & just so sweet! [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] seems a bit dated. Also, I personally prefer the nn [name_f]Sade[/name_f] over [name_u]Syd[/name_u]
