I’d forgotten about that! LOVE [name_m]Ab[/name_m] Fab, this makes me love it even more.
@amj @hyacinthbucket @katinka I forgot about Absolutely Fabulous myself! [name_f]My[/name_f] parents used to watch it when I was little, haha. That does make me like the name a bit more, actually
Saffron is the name of the heroine of the young adult novel Saffy’s [name_u]Angel[/name_u], by [name_u]Hilary[/name_u] McKay. It’s the first in a great series about an artist family who named all their kids after paint colors ([name_f]Saffron[/name_f], [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], and Permanent [name_f]Rose[/name_f]). I think it’s a beautiful name and agree that it is usable. I also like nickname Saffy but not [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u].
I think [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] could work! No associations that I know of besides the spice. I crushed hard on [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] for a long time, around the same time I fell for [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. I think it has a very pretty sound, and it’s not too cutesy to be wearable, imo. And I definitely like the idea of balancing it with a more classic middle name! [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u], maybe?
All that to say, yes, I like it.
I think it could definitely work! The sound isn’t appealing to me personally, but I do love the nns!
