Sage for a boy?

I recently heard [name_u]Sage[/name_u] on a boy and I think it is super cute, but I don’t know if it is too feminine?

I love [name_u]Sage[/name_u] on a boy. I like the softness and playful, boyish feel it has, and the implication of wisdom. I definitely think it works for a boy!

Absolutely love [name_u]Sage[/name_u] on a boy! I think most plant/nature names are pretty solidly unisex and don’t lean too masc or too femme.

I like it!
Its definitely useable, but I prefert it as a middle name

The first [name_u]Sage[/name_u] I ever met was a boy. It suited him perfectly. I love it and think it’s a great unisex name.

I think it’s very boyish.

A friend has a four-year-old son named [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and it suits him well. We considered it as a middle name for our son, [name_m]Reuben[/name_m]. I like it a lot as a kind of nature, kind of virtue name, and think it’s squarely gender-neutral. I ever so slightly prefer it for a boy, though I can’t say why.

I have a tendency to have a tad bit longer boy names (ex: [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], [name_m]Ridge[/name_m]) but also am starting to love one syllable names (ex: of course, sweet [name_u]Sage[/name_u].) Maybe [name_u]Sage[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]? SO cute.

I actually prefer it on a boy

I know a [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and a [name_m]Sagen[/name_m]. Both are guys in their early 20s, so I think [name_u]Sage[/name_u] for a boy is totally usable.

[name_u]Sage[/name_u] for a boy? I wouldn’t even use it for a girl. It’s a spice for turkey dinner.

[name_u]Sage[/name_u] is a great name for a boy. It sounds very cute and playful and earthy. It’s a unisex name but I don’t think it would come off as feminine. Have you thought about other earthy names such as [name_m]Basil[/name_m] or [name_u]River[/name_u]?

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] for a boy! I might be wrong but I think there was an Olympian (a man) whose name was [name_u]Sage[/name_u].

There was a male Olympain named [name_u]Sage[/name_u] (a snowboarder maybe) several years back, and that was the first time I heard [name_u]Sage[/name_u] used as a name. Because of that, I think of it as a male name. Years later my stepdaughter named her kitty [name_u]Saige[/name_u]–that kreative spelling gives me the female vibe. But I think [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is completely usable for a boy…(especially if “spices” like Rosemary and Ginger are acceptable names)

I honestly love this name personally for a boy, but due to my husband having a poor experience (and based on the nature of that experience I can’t argue it) we can never use the name. It’s always been one of my favourite boy names!!

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] for a boy! Definitely wearable
