Sage?

What do you think? Nickname possibilities?

I like it as a middle. I can’t think of how [name_u]Sage[/name_u] could be used as a nickname or have a nickname.

[name_u]Sage[/name_u] is one syllable. Why on earth do you need a nickname?

It was very popular where I live maybe 4-6 yrs ago? Beautiful choice, but many of them out there in pockets.

I like [name_u]Sage[/name_u] on a boy a lot more because I’ve only met boys with the name, but it is unisex so that doesn’t matter too much :stuck_out_tongue: It makes me think of wisdom and walking in the forest, which is great! I like it better as a middle too. There is really no way to get a nickname from [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. It doesn’t need one anyway.

I know a teenage girl named [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and she wears it well. I like the nature connection and the “wisdom” connection. I can’t think of how it would be shortened or given a nickname since it is already one syllable.

I really like [name_u]Sage[/name_u] but prefer it as a middle name.

I like it too, but not for me as a first.
Sagacity nn [name_u]Sage[/name_u]? Sagacious?
[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] nn [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]?

I know a girl called [name_u]Saige[/name_u]. The ‘i’ is redundant in terms of pronunciation, of course, but I don’t mind it as a spelling for a girl…
