Sailor

Lately I’ve really come to love the name [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] for a girl (surprising, since I don’t really like any girls names all that much.) I know there’s been a few celebrities who lately have had daughters named [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]. That doesn’t put me off the name at all, but it does have me wondering - do you think [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] is wearable or one of those names that perhaps only celebrities can pull of naming their children?

Or am I overthinking it entirely? (Which I’m wont to do.) Thanks for your feedback!

Very usable and pretty…

I love it and it’s very usable!

The sound is very nice, it reminds me of uber-popular [name_u]Taylor[/name_u]. I think it’s usable for sure.

I would consider it a gp, although I tend to stick to pretty basic names.

However, I think [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] has a gorgeous sound and I wouldn’t be surprised/shocked to meet a little girl with this name.

There is a berry with a Saela [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] which is also a pretty option.

I have [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] on my GP list. It has special meaning for the extended family.

I think it is usable. Although I think I would be too chicken to use it myself.

Wow, I’m so happy to hear others like [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] as well! I agree it definitely has a kind of GP feel to it, but I’m glad that thus far the general consensus is that it’s usable. Saela is very pretty, but I think I’m starting to realize I tend to lean toward names that have a consonant/harder sound at the end. Thanks so much for the confidence boost! I think I’m going to add little [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] to my list, then!

I definitely think [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] is wearable! It’s not one of those crazy names that only celebrities can pull off. That said, I really don’t like this name. My name is [name_u]Taylor[/name_u], so it sounds awkward to me.
