Saintly middle name

After combing through hundreds of names with my husband, he really likes Kit, Alden, Holden and Harrison and my favorite of those is definitely Kit. I think my worry about it not being long enough is unfounded and Kit is a great name on it’s own:)

We would love a saints nane that flows well 3-4 syllables or has special meaning. Something I didn’t do with my first two boys that I regret now
Do any of these names stand out? I’m liking Samuel alot actually.

Kit Ambrose
Kit Basil
Kit Ignatious
Kit Samuel
Kit Alexander
Kit Wolfgang (maybe too gp?)

Have you considered the full name [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] (nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u])? I even think the name [name_m]Christian[/name_m] would be acceptable for [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] sounds lovely to me! I like [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Basil[/name_m], too.

I have and my husband thinks its awful… I guess he knew 1 too many Christophers growing up

What about [name_m]Carsten[/name_m]/[name_u]Karsten[/name_u] “[name_u]Kit[/name_u]”? It’s the [name_m]German[/name_m] form of [name_m]Christian[/name_m].

This user asked for feedback on middle names, NOT full names for [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. Why are some nameberry users so fixated on details like this?

I like [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] for something safe, [name_u]Kit[/name_u] Ignatious for something bold.

I think you’ve got a great range of choices!
I love [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] and [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is wonderful and the mix of sounds is great and I like how [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] flows!
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] Ignatious is also lovely and I like the boldness of it.
I guess it really depends on whether you want to go with something safer or something a little bolder and daring - either option works great with [name_u]Kit[/name_u]!

Thanks berries!

And no… we have definitely looked at long form names for [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and we’re really just liking [name_u]Kit[/name_u] on its own. I just need to find a middle that flows well with the shortness of [name_u]Kit[/name_u]

[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is my favourite.

I love, love, love the name Ignacious, but in this case I think [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] works best. I think [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] could work too, depending on your last name.

I like [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] and [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Basil[/name_m]. I also (and I admit bias) would recommend [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] if you want something very bold.

And you don’t have to be so rude about it  don’t ruin it for the rest of us

[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] - Cute, I like how the older sounding [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] balances out the younger sounding [name_u]Kit[/name_u].
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Basil[/name_m] - Many people will think of the herb, not the religious reference.
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] Ignatious - This might be a little over the top, but it sounds nice with the first name.
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] - I rarely see [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] as a middle name. Nice traditional name though.
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] - This is the most common of your choices, and may not sound saintly to some people.
[name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m] (maybe too gp?) - I like it personally, but it is highly unusual.

Have you considered [name_u]Kit[/name_u] Rapael?

Unless people are Catholic, or familiar with religious history, they may not know that ANY of these names are saints names.

My vote goes for [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]
