[name_f]Savannah[/name_f]. [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] is dated
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] is lovely!
I definitely prefer [name_f]Savannah[/name_f].
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] is rather dated to me - ‘‘twas so common hear in the 80’s ; so many 30- something [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]/[name_u]Sam[/name_u]’s around these days. That said, it actually could sound almost fresh on a baby now due to not have been in use for some 20+ yrs now… I do still prefer [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] overall, though it’s more on trend now, so in ten years, it too may seem dated too.
Both are nice enough names, though.
Agree that [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] might seem dated, but it’s still very pretty. While I like [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], you just know that one day it too will seem very dated. Best to just go with your heart!
I personally feel both are dated but that is not a reason not to use a name if you adore it and feel it is The One. I personally prefer [name_f]Samantha[/name_f].
I love both names immensely, but lately I’ve grown tired of [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]. My vote goes to [name_f]Samantha[/name_f].
Went for [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] as I just love the nn [name_u]Sam[/name_u] (and not the nn’s for [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]). A middle ground might be [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] nn [name_f]Suki[/name_f], Zannah, [name_f]Susie[/name_f]!
I’m gonna go against the grain here and say [name_f]Samantha[/name_f], to me it’s a lot more classic than [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], it has a long usage of history. And since both of them are pretty well matched in popularity I would go with the one that has stood the test of time and still remains popular.
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] is too dated for me. I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] but it’s definitely the best of the two.
