my nephews middle name is [name_u]Michael[/name_u] after his grandfather, my middle name is also [name_m]Micheal[/name_m] is it okay to use [name_u]Michael[/name_u] as my son’s middle name or is that just weird or too many Michaels :o
It’s definitely okay. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is a common enough name to where I don’t see anyone in the family getting offended that you’d be “copying” them. Besides, you have just as much of a right to use [name_u]Michael[/name_u] as anyone else
Totally fine. Especially since its your middle name.
It’s an honor to name someone after someone else, do it.
The world is filled with Michaels (I’m married to one, cousin to one, etc. etc.). There can never be enough Michaels!
It’s totally fine. Not an issue at all. My family has four [name_u]Michael[/name_u]’s - all as first names, though. We just say their last name as well when we talk about them. I don’t even see an issue when it’s a middle name they share. [name_m]How[/name_m] often are those really used, you know?
Too. Many. [name_u]Michael[/name_u]'s. Have you seen the video?
Is it like too many cooks?
It’s fine. My family is filled with Michaels and Johns.
It’s just fine
I love the tradition of passing down family names for middles! In ours, it’s [name_m]Wesley[/name_m]. Go for it [name_u]Michael[/name_u]
