I’ve been loving [name]Samuel[/name] lately and have decided to add it to my list. And while I thought I had a combo I really loved ([name]Samuel[/name] [name]Ephraim[/name] [name]Jack[/name]), I’m not as crazy about it anymore. Any ideas for a MN for [name]Samuel[/name]? I find myself partial the vowel middles with [name]Samuel[/name] (especially names starting with an “E”), but it’s certainly not a requirement.
I also like the idea of [name]Rory[/name] and [name]Tristan[/name] with [name]Samuel[/name], too, but as second middles–I’m stuck on the first middle, at the moment. [name]Jack[/name], [name]Zane[/name], or [name]Gray[/name] are most likely for the second middle, if I don’t go with [name]Rory[/name] or [name]Tristan[/name], due to family significance.
[name]Fire[/name] away! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist!)
Thanks, ladies!
I’ve been thinking a lot about [name]Samuel[/name] recently, too, although I think it’ll join my list as a middle. I adore both [name]Rory[/name] and [name]Tristan[/name], and they’d be wonderful with [name]Samuel[/name].
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Rory[/name] (have actually considered this myself )
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Edmund[/name] [name]Gray[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Evander[/name] [name]Zane[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]August[/name] [name]Zane[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name] [name]Tristan[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Tristan[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Wilder[/name] [name]Jack[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Elijah[/name] [name]Tristan[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Joshua[/name] [name]Rory[/name]
Sorry, not particularly inspired at coming up with combos. Any of these appeal?
As I try to stop singing [name]Pat[/name] [name]Benatar[/name] (love that song!!)… let me think …
For some reason the names Ellerby and [name]Ennis[/name] popped into my head. Ellerby seems a bit long if you’re going with two middles and has the repeated “el” sound, which is what I like about it, but it might turn some folks off. [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Ennis[/name] seems like it was meant to be for me. Or you could go with [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Angus[/name] (I think [name]Angus[/name] is related to [name]Ennis[/name]?). I also like pp’s suggestion of [name]Samuel[/name] [name]August[/name]. My son is [name]Samuel[/name] (after hubby’s grandfather), but his middle name is [name]Murray[/name], which is my grandmother’s maiden name. It definitely doesn’t seem to fit the style you’re going for, but I thought I’d mention it anyway. [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Ennis[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name] [name]August[/name] are my favorite so far in this thread.
What immediately came to mind (with an E middle) was [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Elias[/name] (heavy on the L sound but I still like the flow and how it sounds) and [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Emmett[/name]. PP’s suggestions of [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Ennis[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name] [name]August[/name] are pretty cute.
I’m in love with [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Amias[/name] myself. [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Elias[/name] was a great suggestion as well. [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Elliot[/name]? [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Isaac[/name]?
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Everett[/name] would be lovely.
@morganalefaye - I am loving [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Wilder[/name] [name]Jack[/name]!
@avesnames - I had been considering [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Emmett[/name], too.
@catheyc - really? Because I absolutely love [name]Samuel[/name] Murr@y! It’s so handsome. I like surnamey names, so [name]Samuel[/name] Murr@y seems right up my alley–if not for the fact that it holds none of the significance to me that it has for you. I probably wouldn’t use it, but it makes me smile, knowing there’s a little [name]Samuel[/name] Murr@y out there.
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Eamonn[/name] is on my list [name]Love[/name] love love [name]Sam[/name]!
Oh I do love [name]Samuel[/name]! I like the above suggestion of [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Edmund[/name] [name]Grey[/name]. [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Grey[/name] sounds good to me too.
