I am just loving the name [name]Samuel[/name]! I was wondering others’ thoughts on it?
I really love [name]Sam[/name], but [name]Samuel[/name] is nms.
I absolutely adore the name [name]Samuel[/name]. I think it makes an excellent first or middle name.
It’s alright to me, but I can see how it might grow on me. My older brother was almost named [name]Samuel[/name], but my mom decided she didn’t want everyone calling him [name]Sam[/name].
I love [name]Sam[/name] not totally in love with [name]Samuel[/name] but I would go for the full name as call him [name]Sam[/name].
I really like [name]Samuel[/name], it’s my favourite way to get to [name]Sam[/name], it’s soft but still definitively male.
I love [name]Samuel[/name], [name]Sam[/name] on the other hand sounds like a pet dog to me so I’m not a fan of the shortened version.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Samuel[/name]. [name]Love[/name] the nickname [name]Sam[/name] or [name]Sammy[/name]. All together this would be a great name for a boy.
I love the name [name]Samuel[/name]! Classically handsome with Biblical roots.
Before my son was born, I loved [name]Sam[/name] but not [name]Samuel[/name] – in fact, I didn’t like [name]Samuel[/name] at all. But when he was born, we knew he was a [name]Samuel[/name], and it fits perfectly. We call him [name]Sam[/name] usually, but he has also been called [name]Sammy[/name], [name]Samson[/name], Samsam, and lots of other nns by family members and not one of them bothers me (which surprised me).
I love it, too! I never seem to be able to be able to come up with a combo I like, but I adore [name]Samuel[/name]. Lately I’ve thought about it as a MN, but I don’t have a combo for it yet. I think [name]Sam[/name] is adorable.
And swoon, I love [name]Samuel[/name] with your other children! Especially your boys–I think [name]Samuel[/name] fits in so well with [name]Jonah[/name], [name]Isaiah[/name], and [name]Levi[/name] (am I remembering correctly?).
Good luck!
Oh, I love [name]Samuel[/name]! There was a little [name]Samuel[/name] just born in the story I’m writing, actually. To me, [name]Sam[/name] is sweet, friendly, laid back, and honest with a ruggedly masculine, Southern air to him. [name]Samuel[/name] is also very handsome and Biblical, which I like.
Yes, [name]Ash[/name] you remember perfectly No, I don’t have any announcement, just thinking on the name.
I too, was struggling though to come up with combos… here is what I thought of:
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Matthew[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Giovanni[/name] (hubby’s name is [name]Giovanni[/name])
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]John[/name]
[name]Do[/name] any of those sound good? I am just playing around with a long list of names I love, and trying to get combos out of them.
I adore it, but admittedly I’m biased, because it’s my dad’s name and my dad is my favorite person in the world.
He is [name]Samuel[/name] [name]John[/name].
I couldn’t remember if I was missing a son, haha. I know you have more girls than boys, though.
I like [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] on your list. Probably just because I’m really in a [name]Matthew[/name] kick, I think it’s so handsome and classic. When [name]Samuel[/name] was on my short list for a short kick, it was [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Edison[/name] [name]Rupert[/name] (although I like [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Edison[/name] [name]Charles[/name], too). [name]Don[/name]'t know if any of those combinations appeal to you.
I love [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Giovanni[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] - both can pay tribute to your husband.
And I love [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Charles[/name] - [name]Ash[/name]'s suggestion - very handsome!
I love the name [name]Samuel[/name], especially for it’s meaning: “God has heard”. If I had boy girl twins I would name them [name]Samuel[/name] & [name]Eliana[/name] (they have the same meaning).
I like the combo of [name]Samuel[/name] [name]John[/name]. Here are some other ideas:
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]William[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Luke[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Jamin[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]David[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Nathan[/name]
I hope that helps!
Oh yes, I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Matthew[/name]! It has been on my list for years I love the meaning of [name]Matthew[/name] as well. It’s funny b/c I am not a huge fan of “[name]Sam[/name]” but love [name]Samuel[/name]…
My dad has never been [name]Sam[/name], always [name]Samuel[/name], which all stems from my grandmother (his mom).
Like you, she loved [name]Samuel[/name] but didn’t like [name]Sam[/name], and simply would not allow dad’s name to be shortened to [name]Sam[/name].
That rubbed off on my dad and he has never allowed anyone to call him [name]Sam[/name].
