So,I have a character who was originally called [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]. She’s half Japanese, half white, and lives in San [name_m]Francisco[/name_m] (like me!!!) but I feel like it doesn’t fit the vibe of the city anymore. Suggestions? Her love interest, a cherokee-white-mexican teen remains nameless. [name_m]Tommy[/name_m], maybe? Here’s personalities for both

I personally don’t think that you should worry about having names out of place, because I don’t think that will happen! San Francisco holds a great variety of different people, and I think that any name that you choose will fit in perfectly! For instance, if you take a really Southern sounding name like Clementine, or Chuck, and give it to a really hip character living in Hollywood, It could totally work! AND it would also help you to destroy San Francisco stereotypes, and bring attention to the fact that not all Californians are the same.
