Sorry, but I’m not a huge fan. It sounds very harsh to me. I think it is the hard “cha” in the middle. I don’t get the same soft and sweet as I do with [name]Sophia[/name].
With that said, it really only matters what you think. So if you love it, go for it! I hope someone else has nn help for you because all I can think of is [name]Nina[/name], [name]Nan[/name], and Sanny (which I don’t really care for).
I am not sure if this was helpful, but good luck!
I like [name]Sanchia[/name] but I prefer [name]Sancha[/name], I think it sounds great.
[name]How[/name] funny! I just read The Grand [name]Sophy[/name] by [name]Georgette[/name] Heyer last night, and it has a character named [name]Sancia[/name] in it. I like the name!
It could grow on me.
[name]Hi[/name] I’m called [name]Sanchia[/name] and people call me Sanch for short, a Spanish holy name I think some people pronounce it san -she- a
which makes it sound softer!.
It’s a great name I’ve had it for 29 years now and people certainly don’t forget unsusual names like this I have had alot of people comment over the years how beautiful it sounds…go for it !!
[name]Hi[/name] my name is [name]Sanchia[/name], pronounced San-she-a. My Mother came across a name book and found it meant “Child of God and helper of mankind”.
I get alot of great comments about it, unfortunately not many people take the trouble to pronounce it correctly. We don’t care for abbreviations.
[name]Sanchia[/name].
