[name]Sanna[/name] is the Scandinavian version of [name]Susannah[/name] - but what do youall think of use ing [name]Sanna[/name] to honor both a [name]Suzy[/name] and a [name]Donna[/name]? It seems like it is a combination of both names so do you think this could work or is that just cheesy? Also, do you think the name [name]Sanna[/name] goes with my sons name [name]Callum[/name]?
[name]Sanna[/name] almost sounds like [name]Santa[/name] to me. I just don’t find it pleasing to the ear. I don’t think it matches [name]Callum[/name] well.
I see this name & say [name]Sanna[/name] like it rhymes with [name]Anna[/name] (ann-uh). Not sure if that’s the proper pronunciation.
I think it could work as a [name]Suzy[/name]/[name]Donna[/name] smush with legitimacy behind it.
[name]Do[/name] you have Scandinavian heritage as well?
I think it goes fine with your sons name.
I think that where I live no one would give you a weird look for this name, but in more rural areas people might be like, “[name]Savannah[/name]?” “[name]Santa[/name]?” “[name]Sandra[/name]?” so if you can handle that I say go for it, but that unfamiliar aspect might make it a tougher name to wear.
I’m torn by this name. Upon hearing it, I think of either the word ‘sana’ which is ‘healthy’ in Spanish. Or my mind wants to add onto it and say san-itation.
So yeah, not for me.
I think other good ideas to honor both of those names would be:
[name]Sonya[/name]/ [name]Sonja[/name]
[name]Dana[/name] or [name]Danna[/name] ([name]Day[/name]-na and [name]Dan[/name]-uh)
[name]Sadie[/name]
Yes, stretches… but they have similar letters and sounds to [name]Suzy[/name] and [name]Donna[/name] without being as out there.
[name]Daisy[/name] connects [name]Suzy[/name] & [name]Donna[/name] and is a really nice choice.
Isn’t [name]Sanna[/name] pronounced sah-nah? It’s a gorgeous name and works well both as a sister to [name]Callum[/name] and to honor [name]Donna[/name] and [name]Suzy[/name].
I disagree with the negative comments. Beautiful name, works as a smoosh to honor [name]Donna[/name] and [name]Suzy[/name].
