Same as [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]. It wasn’t until I took Spanish in high school that I realized it could be pronounced differently. Still, I’d instinctively think it as [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].
I pronounce [name_f]Sara[/name_f] as ‘SAH-ra’ and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] as ‘SAIR-a’.
In [name_f]Canada[/name_f] (and the US), [name_f]Sara[/name_f] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] are generally both pronounced sair-ah. In the UK, it’s generally sah-rah, the first ‘a’ like the ‘a’ in the word cat. I’ve lived in both countries and that seems to be what I’ve heard.
SAH-ra, pretty much phonetically. Whereas I pronounce [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] like SAIR-ra.
I say it the same as [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].
I pronounce [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] and [name_f]Sara[/name_f] the same, SEHR-ə. There were quite a few [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]/Saras in school while I was growing up, they all pronounced their names the same. I am in the United States.
SAH-ruh, rhymes with [name_f]Zara[/name_f]. This is my godmother’s name, and because of her I was very adamant as a child that the character in A [name_m]Little[/name_m] [name_f]Princess[/name_f] should be pronounced that way, and not like [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].
