I voted [name_f]Rachel[/name_f], but they are both incredulously boring.

I voted [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], purely for the [name_f]Sally[/name_f] and [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] nicknames which I love but couldn’t use as full names. Both are classic, beautiful names, though.

I chose [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] because the name [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] means “sheep” and 2015 is the year of the sheep haha

I’ve never met a [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] I didn’t like. Or for that matter a [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f].

I chose [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] because [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] sounds a little like a fad from the past, [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] sounds more timeless imo. But still both are lovely names and you couldn’t go wrong with either of them.

Both are too dated

I agree with this

[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] by far.

I voted for [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]. It is more timeless and has a lovely meaning. But both are pretty names.

I love love love the name [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]!

Ooh, so hard! [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] has been one of my steadfast favorites for years, but I like [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] a lot, and it was on my top 5 the first time I created a top 5. I think the combo would decide it for me! I still love the two [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] combos I had way back then ([name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]), but I love the idea of a romantic and long and lush MN for [name_f]Rachel[/name_f], like [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (le sigh. I’ve loved [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] forever, I think!). On instinct, though, I say [name_f]Rachel[/name_f], just because I’ve been massively in love with her longer, I think.

Both are biblical and timeless. I happen to like [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] more. It seems to have more spunk to me.

[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is sweeter and more timeless.

I love [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]! It’s so simple and pretty. [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is nice too, but I don’t like it as much.

My name is [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] and my sister is [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]! [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] is farther down on the ssa list than you’d probably expect (not in top 100, so to the pp who said it boring, it’s definitely not being overused so i personally don’t think of it as boring.) I can’t say which i like better because i’m incredibly biased but neither my sister nor myself have ever had any trouble with our names so either option is great

i’m surprised how rude some people are being about these names…

Prefer the biblical spelling of [name_f]Rachael[/name_f].

But voted [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] as I think [name_f]Rachael[/name_f]/[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] is still suffering from its fad in the 70s/80s.

I voted for [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] but I’m biased - that’s my name  I’ve never been a fan of [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] unforuntately, it’s a bit harsh [name_f]IMO[/name_f]… But there’s nothing wrong with either.

Both are so incredibly lacklustre and boring! I actually despise the name [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]…to me it’s the equivalent of naming your daughter ‘Girl’. It’s just boring and unimaginative and sounds like a stock-standard name. Oh she’s a girl- well [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] it is. Ick.

[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] is only slightly better. If I had to choose between the two, I’d say [name_f]Rachel[/name_f], but it is very popular, and again a very generic and boring name. They both sound to me like the parents gave their daughters name no thought whatsoever. I find them both extremely unappealing, but I have voted [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] in this instance.

Out of curiosity, if these are your final two choices, what are the middle names you are considering?

Wow, surprisingly harsh feedback. It is OK to appreciate different styles, berries. I would consider both [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] and [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] classic names rather than dated fads. I voted [name_f]Rachel[/name_f], but I loved the suggestion of [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], nn [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] or [name_f]Sally[/name_f].
