[name_f][/name_f][name_f][/name_f]This is 100% fair—I feel like I’d lose out on [name_m]Cedar[/name_m] with using Sasha… I like the idea of a compound nn (like [name_f]Maria[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] nn Mavi) or a nn based on initials (like [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] [name_f]Velvet[/name_f] nn Evie), but in general if I use a first name I love enough to use it up front… I don’t want to lose out on it by using something like [name_f]Mavi[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f]! [name_f][/name_f] 
Seriously loving [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] and [name_m]Sampson[/name_m] but love [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] with no nn and prefer [name_m]Sam[/name_m] with [name_m]Sampson[/name_m] I’ve found. [name_f][/name_f] Similar with [name_m]Skandar[/name_m], it’s a diminutive already so using [name_f]Sasha[/name_f] as a nn for him feels bizarre. [name_f][/name_f] And [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m] might be too much of a stretch, but I need a nn for him beyond [name_m]Russ[/name_m] or [name_m]Ross[/name_m] or Laz, which I just can’t bring myself to like in the slightest
