For me, [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] is a nickname for a boy and [name_u]Sascha[/name_u] is a girls name – solely because I’ve only known girls named [name_u]Sascha[/name_u] and boys called [name_u]Sasha[/name_u].
I like it for both genders.
But I have to say, for a girl I think [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] (SEER-sha) is much prettier. [name_f]Dasha[/name_f] is really charming too.
I like it on both genders, but I do prefer it on a boy. I’ve only met one male [name_u]Sascha[/name_u], all the rest have been female [name_u]Sasha[/name_u]'s, but I haven’t met that many of either gender. While I like [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], I must say that I adore [name_f]Dasha[/name_f].
I have met only one female [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], one male [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] (full name), six more that go by the name [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], and two more guys born [name_u]Sascha[/name_u]. I had be taught [name_f]Dasha[/name_f] was the fem [name_u]Sasha[/name_u].
I’ve only met girls called [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] and I can’t see it on a boy (despite the fact it is originally a boy’s name).
I like it for both genders. [name_u]Sacha[/name_u] for a boy and [name_u]Sasha[/name_u]/[name_u]Sascha[/name_u] for a girl.
