I like [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] a lot. I’d prefer as a nn - for [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Natasha[/name_f], [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], or [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] - but I think it stands well on its own, too. I know a [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], who is an adult and an athlete (in the same sport that my kids do), and it suits her well.

[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] is lovely - gentle but rugged, earthy and warm. It feels cool and outdoorsy but also sweet and sassy

I LOVE [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] so much! I think it’s sweet, spunky, and unexpected! I know many people here prefer it as a nickname, but I actually love it as a stand-alone name and think it works really well!

[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] is a great name! I knew one girl named [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] who’d be 15/16 now. [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] reminds me of mountains

I always think of this as a boy’s name as basically any [name_m]Aleksander[/name_m] from a Russian background that I have ever known has been [name_u]Sasha[/name_u]! But it’s definitely used more frequently as a girl’s name in [name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]America[/name_u] so I don’t think the association is as strong.
All the ones I’ve know have been Very Mean Girls. Sorry.
