I agree that they are cute together, but people will definitely think you named them after [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] and [name_m]Huck[/name_m] [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. There is no getting around that. It immediately jumped out at me. That being said, I don’t think it’s a terrible association, but if it bothers you that the association will be made, and probably made often, I wouldn’t do it.
I think you and your children will probably get really sick of people pointing it out really quick. That being said, if you won’t mind all the comments I say go for it. I think the names sound great together and are unique but recognizable.
What about [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]? Super similar sounds, but without the [name_m]Twain[/name_m] connection.
I noticed it right away, I think it’s a little too themey.
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] isn’t bad but I prefer [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. I like both [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] independently I just wonder how many people will think about [name_m]Mark[/name_m] [name_m]Twain[/name_m]. It’s not a terrible association, I just wouldn’t be naming my kids after his characters and I am sure people will think other wise but eh
