[name]One[/name] of my new favorites is [name]Connelly[/name] [name]Grace[/name].
Our last name is [name]Gordon[/name]. Does this “flow” well? [name]Connelly[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Gordon[/name].
Does it look feminine?
[name]One[/name] last favor… (:
Im really starting to like this name - but it’s gunna take a cool nickname from it to convince the hubs.
I’m not so convinced with [name]Connie[/name] … Though I know it will happen. LOL
I also would love to use the middle name [name]Dace[/name] instead of [name]Grace[/name]. I just wasn’t sure what others would think about it?
Too weird? [name]Connelly[/name] [name]Dace[/name] [name]Gordon[/name]… Initials: CDG. I like it! A lot!
[name]Connelly[/name] isn’t exactly my style, but I like the flow of it with [name]Grace[/name] and your LN. To me [name]Connelly[/name] [name]Dace[/name] sounds really masculine. I’d prefer a more obvious girl name in the middle since the first is pretty gender-neutral. For [name]Connelly[/name], you could use nickname [name]Nell[/name], which I think is super cute.
I agree with this completely. The sweet, feminine [name]Grace[/name] balances out the ambiguity of [name]Connelly[/name] really well. I think you could use [name]Elle[/name]/[name]Ella[/name]/[name]Ellie[/name] as a nn, as well. [name]Ellie[/name]/[name]Elly[/name] would probably be most natural, though…
I know a girl (college-aged) named Connell and I personally prefer Connell over Connelly. The flow of Connelly Grace is good though and I think it’s a good balance of feminine and unusual. I’m not a fan of Connelly Dace though; it sounds way too unisex.
As for nicknames, I would personally call Connelly ‘Connell’. I think Conell has a really cute, yet strong sound to it that easily fits in today’s world. Something a little more feminine- Nelly, Nell, Elle, Ellie or Lee.
[name]Connelly[/name] is an Irish surname. It’s an awful name for a girl, in my honest opinion. And people don’t use their middle names enough for ‘[name]Grace[/name]’ to really help it out.
[name]Connelly[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is pretty, but I must be in the minority here because the [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Gordon[/name] don’t flow well to me. It is a middle name though, so it doesn’t matter too much. It sounds lovely.
I like [name]Nell[/name] or [name]Nelly[/name], or [name]Elle[/name] for nicknames.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Connelly[/name] [name]Grace[/name]! [name]Dace[/name] not so much, only because it sounds too gender neutral with [name]Connelly[/name] like the other posters said. [name]Connelly[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Gordon[/name] flows really nicely, so does [name]Connelly[/name] [name]Gordon[/name]. [name]Love[/name] it, love it, love it! If I knew a little [name]Connelly[/name] I’d call her [name]Elly[/name] or [name]Nelly[/name]. So cute!
I (surprisingly!) quite like [name]Connelly[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. I don’t know that I’m all that keen on [name]Connelly[/name], but with [name]Connie[/name] or [name]Nell/name as a nn I think it’s cute. Really don’t like [name]Dace[/name], though. It sounds silly. [name]Grace[/name] is feminine and really helps [name]Connelly[/name] sound like a girls name.
