So difficult! I love both!
I know right? Difficult one! There’s something distinct and magical about Scandi girl’s names - for me they evoke the ancient way of conceptualising the feminine - fierce and formidable.
These are both gorgeous Einara is one I don’t think I’ve encountered but I am loving it
Wow! What a lovely way to describe it. I’ll be thinking about that all day!
[name_f]Beautiful[/name_f], isn’t it. Feminine but strong with a meaning to match. It’s the fem version of the more common masculine [name_m]Einar[/name_m].
[name_f]Elva[/name_f] is high on my list!
I love Scandi names, they’re just so whimsical and beautiful. Some of my favorites are [name_f]Birgit[/name_f], [name_u]Maiken[/name_u], and [name_f]Mette[/name_f].
There’s also the [name_m]German[/name_m] name Elke/ [name_f]Elka[/name_f]
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Elva[/name_f]! We considered Elfi for our last daughter’s name, but I was worried it was too nicknamey/cute and that people might make fun of the ‘elf’ connection. [name_f]Elva[/name_f] has a similar feeling, but doesn’t have either of those problems.
(We ended up naming our daughter [name_f]Clara[/name_f] Wolf.)
