Scandinavian Boy Name?

Hi! Just found out my 3rd child is a boy! I have a girl and a boy already, both have Norse origin names so I wanted to keep with that for this baby. The only name I’ve seen that I like is Stellan. Looking for some more options please! Can also be a Celtic name if I really like it. (My husband and I are Irish and Scandinavian)

[name_m]Stellan[/name_m] is fabulous! How about [name_m]Torin[/name_m] for an Irish-Scandinavian crossover choice?

I agree with the above poster and think that [name_m]Aren[/name_m], [name_m]Aron[/name_m], [name_m]Oisin[/name_m], & [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] are really cool names. As is your own pick [name_m]Stellan[/name_m]!

I don’t have much Scandinavian or Celtic background so only have a few to suggest (a few being 3).

Sorry! I should’ve mentioned other kids names. They’re [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_m]Thorin[/name_m].

[name_u]Tristan[/name_u] and [name_u]Callum[/name_u] were on our list for my first son. I’ll have to add those back, I completely forgot lol

Thanks! [name_f]My[/name_f] son’s name is [name_m]Thorin[/name_m] so I think [name_m]Torin[/name_m] would be too close:/

Yes, I really loved [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] for my last son but my husband vetoed. Maybe I can get him to agree this time lol

[name_m]Ah[/name_m]! Sorry, but glad I was on the right track at least

Adding [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] and [name_m]Ivar[/name_m] to the mix. I think both sound wonderful with [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_m]Thorin[/name_m].

Good luck!

Seconding the recommendation of [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] for you! [name_f]My[/name_f] personal favorites are [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] and [name_m]Lars[/name_m] :black_heart:

Adding:
[name_m]Anders[/name_m]
[name_m]Gunnar[/name_m]
[name_m]Leif[/name_m]
[name_u]Rune[/name_u] - old Norse
[name_u]Calder[/name_u] - Nameberry is saying it’s [name_f]English[/name_f] but I found other sources saying it has Gaelic/old norse origins
[name_m]Rollo[/name_m] - old norse

[name_m]Leif[/name_m] is on my list as well but I don’t know if my husband will ever agree lol I don’t know [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] was a Scandinavian name! I’ve come across it a few times now.

Thank you! I love [name_m]Espen[/name_m]!
