We are trying to come up with some boy names that are somewhat Scandinavian inspired, but will be fairly easy pronunciation wise in the US.
Top favorites right now are
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m]
[name_m]Aksel[/name_m] (dislike [name_m]Axel[/name_m] spelling)
[name_m]Leif[/name_m]
[name_m]Ole[/name_m] (family name)
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Anders[/name_m], but it is my brother’s name, so we are going to avoid to try to keep from playing sib favorites.
[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] is great! I like [name_m]Aksel[/name_m] too (either spelling) and the suggestions of [name_m]Emil[/name_m] and [name_m]Klaus[/name_m].
More ideas:
[name_m]Ivar[/name_m] / [name_m]Iver[/name_m]
[name_m]Jens[/name_m]
[name_m]Lukas[/name_m]
[name_m]Oskar[/name_m]
[name_u]Sander[/name_u] (maybe instead of [name_m]Anders[/name_m]?)
[name_m]Soren[/name_m]
[name_m]Henrik[/name_m] and [name_m]Soren[/name_m] are favourites of mine! [name_m]Henrik[/name_m] is strong and masculine - unique yet recognisable. [name_m]Soren[/name_m] is much softer sounding than [name_m]Henrik[/name_m] and more unique, but even though it’s a different style, I adore it. It’s very sweet.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Leif[/name_m] (layf), [name_m]Henrik[/name_m], Sören, Björn, [name_m]Anders[/name_m], and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m]. I’m currently pregnant with a [name_m]Viggo[/name_m], so obviously we love that too!
