It is really growing on me. What do you think of [name]Scarlet[/name]? Could she be an alternative to uber popular [name]Charlotte[/name]? Is she classical or vintage? Combo ideas? And importanty, how do you picture a little [name]Scarlet[/name] or Scarlett?
love [name]Scarlet[/name] but I prefer [name]Scarlett[/name]… I picture a beautiful little girl who loves wearing red dresses…
My friends nicknamed me [name]Scarlet[/name] a long time ago and I love it! I definitely wear lots of red dresses… She’s not a classic, but a modern vintage?
[name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Madeleine[/name]
[name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Alice[/name]
[name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Persephone[/name]
[name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name]
I do like [name]Scarlet[/name] because it’s one of my favorite anime/manga character’s last name, but it’s nms for me (same with [name]Charlotte[/name]). [name]Scarlett[/name] (with the double L’s) is in the top 100 and is probably going to rise a bit higher.
If you aren’t concerned with the popularity and don’t mind the constant spelling corrections (It’s [name]Scarlet[/name] with one ‘t’, you know, like the color?) then go ahead and use it.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name]! Soft yet spunky.
I like [name]Scarlett[/name] better. [name]Scarlet[/name] just seems unfinished. I think it would be a great alternative to [name]Charlotte[/name]. I think [name]Scarlett[/name] is more vintage. [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Renee[/name] would be pretty. I picture a little [name]Scarlett[/name] with dark brown hair or red hair and pale skin.
I love it! I know a few in their 20s, but no little ones! I considered it when I was pregnant and ended up disliking the no-nickname aspect! I do think it’s gorgeous but I am such a nicknamer!
I picture a Southern girl with dyed red hair who is skinny & into punk music…like one of the [name]Scarlet[/name]'s I know!
I’ve never cared much for this name.
The [name]Scarlet[/name] Letter
[name]Scarlet[/name] Fever
[name]Scarlett[/name] O’[name]Hara[/name]
The first syllable is “scar”
It’s just not very pretty to me.
I love [name]Scarlett[/name]! I follow a certain youtube baby namer and her love for [name]Scarlett[/name] made me fall in love with the name. The ‘scar’ part of it doesn’t bother me at all, I’m kind of put off by the fact that it doesn’t have any obvious nicknames though. It sounds soft, sweet, yet spunky to me. Definitely modern vintage. It’s funny because I don’t like the name [name]Charlotte[/name] at all!
Lol, it’s the name I go by, my middle name is [name]Scarlett[/name]. Obviously I am fond of the name. I personally like the associations, but that’s just me.
There are nicknames btw, Scarly and [name]Carly[/name].
[name]Love[/name] the name [name]Scarlett[/name]. Named our daughter [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and we continually get compliments on her name. Good choice!
[name]Love[/name] it! The [name]Scarlet[/name] spelling better in my opinion.
I prefer [name]Charlotte[/name] over [name]Scarlett[/name] simply because of the word ‘scar’ in [name]Scarlett[/name]. Also, [name]Charlotte[/name] has some nn options ([name]Charlie[/name], [name]Char[/name], [name]Lotte[/name]) whereas [name]Scarlett[/name] only has one acceptable nn [name]Carly[/name] (which I’m not crazy about) With that said, I do think [name]Scarlett[/name] is a beautiful name. It reminds me of Gone With the Wind
I can’t get behind [name]Scarlet[/name], I knew someone who referred to themselves as the “scarlet harlot” (her hair was dyed intense red at the time), so the name’s forever tainted. And I didn’t like [name]Scarlett[/name] O’[name]Hara[/name] at all.
I very much enjoy the version with two t’s. Makes it look intense and awesome.
In terms of colour names I prefer [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Saffron[/name], [name]Marigold[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Indigo[/name], [name]Ebony[/name], [name]Lilac[/name], [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Olive[/name], [name]Emerald[/name], [name]Raven[/name]… which is to say, most colour names that aren’t [name]Scarlet/name.
In terms of GWTW, I prefer [name]Vivien[/name] to [name]Scarlett[/name].
Beautiful!! I like it spelled [name]Scarlett[/name].
I love the name [name]Scarlett[/name] (agree [name]Scarlet[/name] is unfinished), although not sure how I feel about nn Scar or Scarly. Any other nn options? I picture [name]Scarlett[/name] with golden ringlets and big brown eyes
Nicknames: [name]Red[/name], [name]Lettie[/name], [name]Carly[/name]?
