I have completed a month of my Name of the Day thread, and I suppose it is time for it to come to an end. It was incredibly fun to share names that I came across. As promised, I regularly posted on the thread for a little more than a month. I might revisit it sometime later, since I enjoyed it so much, but I’d like to give it a rest for now.
Throughout the month, I shared thirty-one names from a book (Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Names, for anyone interested). I tried diversifying it, atleast, expanding it from Greek to Hindu to Egyptian mythologies. The thread began on 18 May with Lysianassa and ended on 18 June with Nephthys. While I knew about Nephthys before, Lysianassa was new to me, and so were plenty of other names.
Here are the names in order. You may reference my posts on Scarlet’s Name of the Day to know more about them:

With sixteen female and fifteen male names on the list, with varying origins, I think I have done quite a good job. What were your favourites? Have you encountered any new names of late? I’d love to hear them!
If you’d like a challenge, how about making sibsets and combos out of them? I am waiting for your responses.
Thank you!
