Scarlett and Cecilia?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think (hypothetically) that [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] go well together (along with [name_f]Arabella[/name_f])? I love them both, but I feel like they don’t go together stylistically.

What do you think about [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] or [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]? Any other suggestions?

I know what you mean. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] has a spunkier, more playful, more modern vibe than [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. With [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] too though, which is kind of a middle ground- dramatic like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], frilly and feminine like [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]- it works better. [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] go well together (though I don’t like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u])- vintage, lacy, delicate. I love both [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] individually and think they make a great sibset- names with history, but which also fit perfectly in the modern world.

Honestly I think these names all go well together, as they all have a vintage aspect to them. I guess I associate [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] with the very upbeat song by [name_m]Simon[/name_m] & Garfunkel as well. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] both are a bit more flamboyant than [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], which are more grounded, however they don’t strike me as being stylistically at odds.

I think all three go well together.

I think [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] goes well with [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]. With [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], not so much. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] goes well with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], though.

I think all of the names are lovely together! I think a sibset of [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] would be so sweet! [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] would fit in nicely too. I don’t care for [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], personally, but she sounds fine with the others. I do not think it matters at all that [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] don’t give off identical vibes – don’t we want our children to all have their own personalities, anyway? Besides, all of your names are tied together with a vintage thread and I think that’s sufficient. It’s not as if you’re comparing [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] and [name_u]Madison[/name_u] or something.

You should definitely go with [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] to join [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]! Those are three of my favorite names ever!!
They fit well together, but are still special, because who really wants to always be the same?!

You’re right, they ARE different styles. I don’t like [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] together but YOU have to decide whether it matters to you or not. I can see [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] as sisters. I don’t mind all girls names ending in “a” as long as they sound different. [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f], [name_f]Leanora[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], [name_f]Maxima[/name_f] and the like would be lovely with your feminine faves. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] would go better with more contemporary choices like [name_u]January[/name_u], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] or [name_u]Piper[/name_u].

I think [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] sounds fine together! I wouldn’t necessarily pair [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] together, though, just because they’re both so… red.
