Does [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] work as sisters? DD is [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and I’m loving [name_f]Eva[/name_f] but I’m not sure if the names work together? Also, DH said no to Evangaline so that’s a no go. Maybe [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] but I would always call her [name_f]Eva[/name_f].
Yes!! I think [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] are GORGEOUS together. So, so lovely!
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] go really well together as sister names!
I agree that [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] are lovely together! They both feel a little bit Old Hollywood, thanks to Gone with the Wind (the character of [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] O’[name_f]Hara[/name_f]), and even [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] [name_m]Saint[/name_m]. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] look to be about the same size, but [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] have just as many syllables as each other, so if that’s your concern, I wouldn’t be. I think they make a great sisterset.
(However, I am a massive, MASSIVE [name_f]Eva[/name_f] fan, so I’m obviously biased. ;))
Good luck!
Thanks for the reply! You just sold me on using [name_f]Eva[/name_f]! I was worried it didn’t match [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] well but you brought up very good convincing information about [name_f]Eva[/name_f] I never new!!
Now for a middle. We use family names so it’s either:
- [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
- [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
- [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Kristine[/name_f]
Last name is 3 syllables starts with a H
I think both names are lovely and sound wonderful together!
I know you’ve already been convinced by the lovely [name_u]Ash[/name_u], but I just also wanted to say that I think they go great together, too! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though their lengths look a bit different, they are equally beautiful and they do match up stylistically as she pointed out. Great choices, really =]
I’ll cast a vote for a middle, as well. I’m currently trying I choose between [name_f]Kristine[/name_f] and [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]. I really like both with [name_f]Eva[/name_f], but I think I’m leaning a bit more towards [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]…or [name_f]Kristine[/name_f]. Idk! Since I don’t know the full last name, I’m putting a placeholder last name based on what you said to help me choose.
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Kristine[/name_f] Holderbrook
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] Holderbrook
[name_f]Edit[/name_f]: Yeah, I’m thinking [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]. Though, [name_f]Kristine[/name_f] would still be a lovely choice, too!
I’m glad to have been of some help! I’ve been using [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] and [name_m]Henderson[/name_m] in my head as three-syllable “H” surname replacements, and to me, both [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] sound best in both cases. I like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] more, but the short and sweet [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] works really well, too. So I would rank them [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Kristine[/name_f], but any of them would be truly great! [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] are perfect together.
Good luck!
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] sounds beautiful!
I like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] best. Would you consider using [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]?
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] are perfect together! I would use [name_f]Eva[/name_f] as the full name.
I think I will go with [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]! [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would be a cute nn but [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] is a better representation of the family member we would be honoring. Thank you all! [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] H.!
