Are [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Juliette[/name] too close for siblings?
Woul be better if it was [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name]?
Yeah to me it sounds very matchy because they both have -t ending.
I love both of these names (prefer the [name]Juliet[/name] spelling though). Part of me thinks they are close, but then part of me thinks they would be totatlly fine! I’ve seen siblings with names that are far more “matchy” than these two and it works just fine for them.
As far as the spelling, I do think it would help to spell [name]Juliet[/name] like this. Not just because that’s how I prefer it, but I just think that makes them look far less similar, if that makes sense.
I don’t think the similar endings are too matchy–the names are so different! What does tie them together is that they are both names of iconic literary heroines, and I love that about them. They’re a fun pair.
Too close for me.
I do love the ideas of matching middle names though. It’s a trend I’m considering myself.
[name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name]
[name]Odette[/name]
[name]Antoinette[/name]
[name]Nicolette[/name] etc.
I’d rather [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Juliana[/name].
No I think it is fine. The endings are similar but the rest of the names are not. [name]One[/name] is 3 syllables and the other is 2. [name]One[/name] starts with S and the other with a J. If this were [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Janet[/name] I would say yes to similar, but [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Scarlet[/name] is fine!
