Scarlett?

Vintage charm? Stripper? Avenger? In the dining room with the candlestick?

I like it, but I’m worried about other people’s impressions. So what’s your initial reaction to the name?

I think it’s a name that name nerds love but might be a little overly sweet or tiresome in real life. I tend to associate it with the two most famous ones: O’[name_f]Hara[/name_f] and Johansson. If you love it, then go for it. It’s a lovely name with a vintage feel.

In the dining room with the candlestick. That aside, I think [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is a lovely name with vintage charm.

I love it. I think the name is versatile enough that it can encompass all these identities. For me, it definitely holds a lot of strength and spunk as well.

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] used to be my favourite name, I thought it was creative, striking and exciting. But recently I’ve heard so many Scarletts. I work on the kids floor of a clothes shop so I hear names get shouted out all time, but [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is one of those that makes me cringe.
Then again, there was a [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] in my class at school who’d come from another school, and I was so excited to meet a [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] my own age! (I was 17 at the time!)
I think that it is a beautiful name, but its one that people think is unusual, so they use it, not realising that everyone else is thinking the same thing, therefore it isn’t actually unusual. As a name nerd I understand that its a very popular name now, so when I hear of non-name nerds using it, it just makes me sigh.
