Round 3 of my SciFi BNG!

This takes place immediately after the end of Round 2.

If you’re still on the alien planet, it’s time to leave. [name_m]Roll[/name_m].
1,2,3 - Your alien friends are excited to come with you.
1 - You choose two of them who will accompany you on your journey.
2 - You choose two of them to come with you. In return, two crewmembers stay on the planet. Choose who.
3 - You invite all of them to come with you. Choose as many as your ship can hold.
4 - Someone from your ship has fallen in love with an alien and decides to stay with them. Choose who.
5 - Before you leave, the aliens give you some alien cells for your freezer. You can have alien babies from now on. If your freezer is broken, you can start alien pregnancies before you leave (if you want).
6 - The ship leaves without further ado. Two weeks later, someone from your crew finds out that she’s pregnant with a half alien baby.

1 year passes.

Then, the next big thing happens. [name_m]Roll[/name_m].
1 - A disease spreads on your ship. [name_m]Roll[/name_m] for everyone: 1 - they die; 2-6 - they survive.
2 - Two crewmembers get into a fight and one dies. You decide what to do with the other.
3 - A one night stand resulted in a pregnancy and the mother dies giving birth. The child(ren) survive(s).
4,5,6 - You discover a habitable planet, but no intelligent life. The ship lands and you stay on the planet for now and settle there. You’re all tired of living on a space ship.

5 years pass.

If you’re on your ship, roll for two things that happened (if you get the same number twice, roll again).
1 - You are in a new relationship and expecting your first child together.
2 - Someone on the ship died in an accident.
3 - Two passengers (not you) are dating and expecting their second child. The first one is 4 already.
4 - You found a planet that’s inhabitable by your alien friends but not by humans. They might or might not have chosen to stay there.
5 - You’ve met another ship from earth like yours. If you’re pushing your ship’s capacity or close to it, choose some of your crew to stay with them. If your ship is only half full or less, you’re taking 4 of their crew in.
6 - Two children from the ship who are to young to have kids are “dating”.

2 - You learned that the planet does have intelligent life after all. They’re very advanced and hid from you all the time, watching you. Name their species, tell us what they look like.

4 - Your crew has adopted a local animal species as pets. There are (roll once, that number) of them in your village. Name them something cute!
5 - Your settlement elected a ruler. Who?
6 - A couple had a child who’s now 3 and are expecting their 2nd.
7 - You had a child one year ago, choose with whom.

If your freezer is still working and no passenger/settler is younger than 10, start a twin pregnancy.

After one year with the Roxki, it’s time to leave them and continue our journey.
They’re all super exited to come with us, but there’s not much room on our ship left. We finally choose [name_m]Gold[/name_m] and her boyfriend [name_u]True[/name_u] to come with us.

For a year, the 16 of us travel without any events.

It becomes more and more apparent that [name_m]Gold[/name_m] is expecting a child. A shock for all of us, she dies giving birth. Her daughter survives, [name_u]True[/name_u] says he wants her to have a human name. We call her [name_f]Golda[/name_f]-[name_f]Maryann[/name_f].

Two notable things happen during the next 5 years:
First, we come across a planet that would be suitable for Roxki to live on, but [name_u]True[/name_u] says that he and his daughter won’t make it on their own and so they stay with us.
Then, we meet another ship like ours. They’ve had a crash not unlike ours and most of their crew died, leaving only [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], 24, [name_u]Tracy[/name_u], 15, and [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m], 41, on a ship made for 16 passengers. [name_u]Luca[/name_u], [name_m]Henri[/name_m] and [name_m]Samir[/name_m] leave us to join them. [name_f]Zilla[/name_f] would have liked to go with them but isn’t done with her enineering training.

If you’re on a planet, you’ve built a little village, houses and farms. Three notable things happened:

  • The Spaceship learned that Geogawa does have intelligent life after all. They’re very advanced and hid from you all the time, watching you. Their species name is Goth and have superior eyesight and and large wings. Their feathers are brown and white and become dull with age.

Another year passes, and a lethal embran disease, influenced by genetics, spreads amongst the humans. [name_u]Harper[/name_u] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u] die.

5 years pass. The crew finds another ship from [name_f]Earth[/name_f] like theirs which has been nearly destroyed by an asteroid. Because the ship still has so much space, they the four surviving members of their crew in. Unfortunately, [name_m]John[/name_m] dies saving the last one. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] carries a twin pregnancy.

The spaceship has long left our solar system on its search for new worlds and, maybe, new life forms. Of course, Im not alone on this journey. The ship can hold up to 20 people and currently has 10 passengers, including myself.

The spaceship left earth 60 years ago - everyone on board has been born there. Because the ship isn’t big enough to hold a naturally stable population, it carries a freezer with fertilized cells in it, so any female passenger can have a baby of the preferred sex whenever a population growth seems reasonable.

On what starts looking like any boring day, our ship collides with a small asteroid.

Nothing of value breaks, but [name_f]Priya[/name_f] & [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] die in the crash protecting the children. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] & I decide to have babies so the population size stays the same.

It’s been five years and the crew managed to increase the ship’s capacity. There’s room for 4 more passengers now.

Our ship enters a new solar system that looks promising and indeed, one of the planets has intelligent life. It’s the first time we meet aliens! They look similar to humans but with larger eyes (similar to a deers), pointed ears, and have different colored skin based on planet location (green near lakes, purple in the valleys, ect). We learn that their civilization is equivalent to earth’s in the near-ish future.

They are scared of us.

We send a message to earth saying we were successful on your search for alien life and gather on your ship to discuss what to do next.

One year passes.

After one year on the Talwawo planet, it’s time to leave.
[name_f]Posy[/name_f] seems to be having a hard time saying goodbye and within a few weeks, we learn why: She’s pregnant, she says the father is a Talwawo called [name_m]Tiger[/name_m]. But she doesn’t want to go back now. Saira [name_f]Eleonore[/name_f] is born on the spaceship.
One year later, we discover a planet that seems perfect for setteling. We choose to to so, at least for now.
During the next 5 years, 3 notable things happen:

  • We founded a village and called it Newstead.
  • We found a local animal species that we now keep in a stable. They are very soft and we use their wool. The children called three of them [name_f]Molly[/name_f], Smile and [name_m]Bob[/name_m].
  • In year 4, I had a short relationship with [name_m]Zayden[/name_m], and we had a boy. We called him [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] Anastasius “[name_u]Max[/name_u]”.
