Inspired by jbulk21’s “CAF in Space”, this is part 1 of a name game that takes place on a spaceship. You’ll need a six-sided die (here’s one: RANDOM.ORG - Dice Roller)
It’s the not-so-far future and you’re living on a spaceship. Choose your age, sex and name!
The spaceship has long left our solar system on its search for new worlds and, maybe, new life forms. Of course, you’re not alone on this journey. The ship can hold up to (roll)

The spaceship left earth 60 years ago - everyone on board has been born there. Because the ship isn’t big enough to hold a naturally stable population, it carries a freezer with fertilized cells in it, so any female passenger can have a baby of the preferred sex whenever a population growth seems reasonable.
On what starts looking like any boring day, your ship collides with a small asteroid. [name_m]Roll[/name_m] for what happens!
1 - No one is injured and nothing breaks. Yay!
2 - Nothing of value breaks, but two passengers die in the crash (you decide who). The survivers decide to have two babies so the population size stays the same. You decide who carries them.
3 - No one dies, but there are several injuries. This experience brings the crew closer together, resulting in a romantic relationship (you decide who) and even a natural pregnancy, something this ship hasn’t seen so far!
4,5,6 - No one is injured, but the freezer breaks so it’s a now-or-never with the fertilized cells!
4 - The crew decides to have two babies while they still can, one girl and one boy. You decide who carries them.
5,6 - The crew decides to have as many babies as possible (Keep in mind the maximum number of passengers, and don’t do multiple pregnancies beyond twins)
6 - Someone manages to repair the freezer and save most of the cells. But now you’re going to have a bunch of babies anyway! Whoops!
If natural pregnancy, roll for sex (see above) and twice for number of babies:
2-11 - singleton
12 - twins
For other pregnancies, choose sexes.
Name all children according to the list above.
It’s been one year since the crash. List everyone who’s on board now:
Thus ends round 1! Round 2 will soon follow.
