I’m a bit late, but our baby girl, [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], arrived on [name_u]November[/name_u] 18th. Thanks for everyone who helped me settle on her name. We call her [name_u]Coco[/name_u], but expect her to go by [name_f]Cora[/name_f] outside the family. [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is a name I’ve loved for quite a few years - likely inspired by The Last of the Mohicans - and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] was my husband’s pick. I love the whimsical feel of [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and that my grandmother’s name started with a B. [name_f]Cora[/name_f]'s first due date was my grandmother’s birthday.

We pronounce it [name_f]Bee[/name_f] uh tris. I’m American and husband is British and we say it the same way.
