Scottish first names for character?

I have a character in a book I’m writing who’s Scottish (he was born in [name_u]Scotland[/name_u], but moved to the USA a three years ago). I originally had his name be [name_u]Brady[/name_u] McAllister, but I don’t think it fits his personality very well. He’s 17- and a bit quiet, serious, sporty, socially awkward at times, but a kind guy who will do anything for his family and friends. His dad’s name is [name_u]Callum[/name_u] McAllister. I would like a name that’s of Scottish origin, fits his personality, and has a good meaning to it; and flows well with his last name - McAllister.

[name_m]Collin[/name_m] I would say, maybe [name_u]Jamie[/name_u]

I think [name_m]Brodie[/name_m] is nice. Maybe [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] or [name_u]Logan[/name_u] :slightly_smiling_face:
