Hello! We are expecting our second baby girl. Our first is named [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] and we love the name [name_u]Scout[/name_u] for the second. And I was thinking of using the midddle name [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] to make the name more feminine.
What are thoughts on the name [name_u]Scout[/name_u] for a girl? I’m a little worried that it sounds weird on an adult?
I think [name_u]Scout[/name_u] is originally a nickname for [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] and I think it sounds perfectly fine for an adult. I think with the recent trend of nicknames as full names, this is completely normal.
[name_u]Scout[/name_u] and [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] sound great together, and [name_u]Scout[/name_u] sounds cool on an adult. It sounds fine, and I wouldn’t worry about it.
I agree that [name_u]Scout[/name_u] and [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] work well together. [name_u]Scout[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a nice combo too.
It’s a nice combo! I think [name_u]Scout[/name_u] is cute and I can imagine it on an adult just fine. Plus I like the more traditional middle name to balance it out.
