I had never heard this name used before on a human, but I got a new job and a girl I work with is named [name_u]Scout[/name_u]. It’s starting to grow on me, what do you think of it?

I’m always so surprised when people call it a “dogs name” or say it should only be a nickname. I’ve come across adult women named [name_u]Scout[/name_u] & it works perfectly well on them! Such a wonderful name!

I know two Scouts! One is about 5 and the other is a newborn! I personally don’t think it sounds very pretty, which is what I prefer for girl names, but it’s still really cute!
Love love love [name_u]Scout[/name_u]! Makes me think of To Kill a Mockingbird. I really like [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] and [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] to get a nn [name_u]Scout[/name_u] too.
It’s so sweet and spunky! I can definitely see it on a human.

Greys Anatomy fan here! [name_u]Doctor[/name_u] on that show just named her boy [name_u]Scout[/name_u] on last weeks episode. I liked it…but love it even more for a girl!
