Thoughts on these names:
[name_f]Carys[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f]?
[name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Wendy[/name_f]/[name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]?
Or maybe ever [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f]?
…
Looking for first name for [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] that make [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] shine, without sounding trashy.
Looking for middle name for [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] that would make [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] sound uplight and cheerful.
Looking for name to pair [name_f]Carys[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] with.
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t care about first+middle name+surname flow.
I love [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] - I think the crisp yet soft sounds of [name_f]Carys[/name_f] fit perfectly with [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] and the name feels so sunny, cheery and lovely - I think the meanings help. [name_u]Love[/name_u] and sun fit nicely in my head.
[name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] is fun too and like that option a lot, but [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] has too many of the same sounds and letters for me.
[name_f]Carys[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] doesn’t quite work for me either (sorry), I think because they share lots of sounds but also letter placement.
[name_f]Wendy[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] works a lot better imo. [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] feels quite vintage and I think that works to make [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] shine without appearing ‘trashy’ or ‘trendy’ whereas I believe [name_f]Carys[/name_f] has only become more mainstream recently.
I quite like [name_f]Carys[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f].
I won’t mention flow since that isn’t a determining factor…
I love [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] gives the combo a sweeter, floral feel, which I love, but if cheerful and upbeat is the imagery you’re looking for, I think [name_f]Carys[/name_f] is perfect. [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] sounds sunny and light to me. [name_u]Love[/name_u].
I’m not as big a fan of [name_f]Carys[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f], personally, but I do like [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] is an unexpected middle while [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] helps balance [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f], and the two names compliment each other well.
For other name suggestions, what sort of names are you looking for?
I really love [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f], by the way!
[name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f] is perfection, imo.
Thank you all gals for your input. I’m looking for real names with classic spelling. Could be a new name like [name_f]Carys[/name_f] or name from other cultures.
I love [name_f]Carys[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Carys[/name_f] is exactly what you’re looking for in terms of making [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] shine—it feels like the velvet box you put the jewel into! I like the matching Y’s as well. I think [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f] is a hard name to balance because it can easily sound too gaudy or cutesy, but [name_f]Carys[/name_f] does a great job.
more ideas: [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f], [name_f]Neve[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f], [name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f]
[name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] does sound light and cheerful, so I think you’ve achieved your goal there (although [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] is NMS, personally.) When it comes to [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], I know you said flow wasn’t a factor, but it’s distractingly off here—those two V’s remind me of someone saying “va va voom” or something equally annoying. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] would be ok. I like [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f], but not as much as [name_f]Carys[/name_f] [name_f]Amethyst[/name_f].
