My husband and I are looking for a new/unique girl name. Something cute that our parents will like, but is also not a common name. Here are some we have come up with. Note: we love unisex names for girls.
Maybe think of some place that is special for you as a couple since a lot of place names seem like they could be your style.
[name]Rory[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Quincy[/name]
[name]Sutton[/name]
[name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Devon[/name]
I’m sorry to sound negative but I think in trying to come up with new, unique names, some are sounding a bit made up & misspelled. The exceptions are [name]Elliot[/name] and [name]Britton[/name]. Neither are my taste but those would definitely be my choices from your list. Based on what you wrote, here are some of my suggestions: [name]Brynn[/name], [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Sabina[/name]
[name]Elliott[/name] – Ok, don’t love it
[name]Payson[/name] – This isn’t very unique. There are tons of [name]Payton[/name]'s out there.
[name]Chayse[/name] – Not a fan
[name]Britton[/name] – Very cool. The best of the bunch.
Covie – Would rather [name]Clove[/name].
[name]Braelynn[/name] – lots of boys are getting name [name]Brayden[/name] so it’s still really popular. What about [name]Bryn[/name]?
[name]Brylie[/name] – Not a fan. What about [name]Bryce[/name]? Like [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Dallas[/name] [name]Howard[/name]??
Not a fan of any of your choices. I don’t think those sound unique or different. [name]Just[/name] trendy. Sorry to be harsh. I think the positive feedback of [name]Britton[/name] will just lead to her getting her name spelled “[name]Britain[/name]” her whole life.
like others, i feel like many on your list are too made up. if you like unisex, i think one that is not too common vs made up is better. ia m not an expert on unisex names but i feel like rowan, rory, sloan, reagan could satisfy the not so common but unisex requirements
I think [name]Elliott[/name] is cute but she could end up with nn [name]Ellie[/name] which does not really fit the unique/unisex idea you’re after. I like the suggestions of [name]Clove[/name], [name]Sloane[/name] and [name]Rory[/name], too.
I have to agree with the nameberries…these aren’t my style of names. They’re not bad names at all-just names I personally wouldn’t use.
[name]Britton[/name] is my favorite, but it is a little trendy sounding to me. [name]Elliott[/name] is my fav name on your list, but I like it for a boy.

I would try to avoid adding 'y’s. (ex. [name]ChaYse[/name]) It will just make things confusing.
