Hello! What are your thoughts on [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]? They’re both family names, [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] from my mom’s side and [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] from ny dad’s. Is the name too “old man” sounding? And is there any nn for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]?
I really like [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] but i’m not a big fan of [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]. I might prefer [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Gregor[/name_m]. Some nn ideas are [name_m]Seb[/name_m], [name_m]Bas[/name_m], [name_m]Bastian[/name_m], [name_m]Ian[/name_m], and Sebby.
Sounds alright to me. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] doesn’t feel old to me at all, though I don’t know any. [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] doesn’t feel old but maybe dated. I know quite a few of different ages and I think the youngest is probably 13 now? Either way, it’s nice that they’re family names which I think adds to their appeal.
As for nicknames, [name_m]Seb[/name_m]/Bastian are what I’ve seen. Maybe [name_m]Ian[/name_m] could work. You could also try asking your mom if the [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] from her side went by anything if possible. Maybe there’s one that’s not expected in the family tree too
I love this so much! Not usually a [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] fan, but it’s just adorable with sweet [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] doesn’t sound “old man” to me, but I agree it sounds dated. I still like it, though
[name_u]Ash[/name_u], [name_m]Bas[/name_m], [name_f]Basha[/name_f] (I’m saying baw-sha, not with an a like in apple), and [name_m]Satch[/name_m] are the only nicknames I can think of that haven’t been mentioned. Maybe you could use a nickname from his middle instead? Like [name_u]Grey[/name_u]?
I love [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]! It’s very fresh sounding to me, even though it’s fairly classic. It’s dashing, a little posh, but smart & kind too. I like [name_m]Seb[/name_m], Sebby & Bash as nns. And I really love the nn [name_m]Satch[/name_m]! [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] is not my personal favorite, but I think that it’s nice as a family mn here.
I really like it. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is very much on trend and not old at all. [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] has some age to it, but [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] gives it the perfect amount of spark, while [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] grounds spunky [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] well.
Sebastian [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] is quite handsome!
Sebastian could have the nn…
Bash
[name_m]Baz[/name_m]
[name_m]Seb[/name_m]
[name_m]Stan[/name_m]
[name_m]Ian[/name_m]
[name_f]Aster[/name_f]
Sebastian [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] sounds fantastic together.
I like this name. I have a younger cousin (aged 7) named [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], so I always see it as a young boy’s name. I also quite like [name_m]Gregory[/name_m], but I liked a suggestion someone else made of maybe going with [name_m]Gregor[/name_m], just to modernise the name a bit.
Sounds very… common, simple, but sophisticated.
Sebastian is a solid name.
[name_m]Bastian[/name_m] and Bash are NN possibilities.
Love it!
It’s not my favorite combo but it works well and I do like the names individually.
I think if I had a cousin/nephew named [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] I might call him [name_u]Sea[/name_u] Bass. Lovingly of course. [name_m]Stan[/name_m] or Stani maybe as a more normal nn.
Nice! I love [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] is nice. [name_m]Seb[/name_m](by) is my favorite nn for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], but [name_u]Ash[/name_u], [name_m]Bastian[/name_m], [name_m]Ian[/name_m], etc., are nice. I know some people LOVE Bash, but I don’t really like it that much, myself.
Good luck!
Wow, I love the combination [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Gregory[/name_m]. As an honour name it is really brilliant and the combination of the two links modern popular name [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] with old favourite [name_m]Gregory[/name_m].
Incidentally, both [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Gregory[/name_m] have an illustrious [name_m]Roman[/name_m] and European history.
I like both names, but feel like they’re too long together? I think they’d be better as brothers than first and middle.
I really like it! [name_m]Bastian[/name_m]/Bast is my favourite nickname for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m].
