What are your thoughts on the name [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] ?

I like how [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] looks but I think the sound is terrible.
I looove [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. If I have a son this will most likely be his name. I’ve loved it for about 5 years now! I say it as 4 syllables instead of 3. More closer to the [name_m]German[/name_m] pronunciation - https://www.nordicnames.de/gn/audio/Jungs/Sebastian.mp3. Which works for me because my father is 100% [name_m]German[/name_m]. I don’t mind the other pronunciations, however. It’s gotten increasingly popular (#24 in the US) but that doesn’t bother me to the slightest because I enjoy it so much.
I love [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] with the nickname Bash. It has a somewhat unique ability to seem both regal and swash-buckling all at the same time. That being said, it is currently too popular for my taste.
I like it. Like gildedfairyx, I’d say [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] with 4 syllables. It’s a very common name here, probably the name with which I know most people.
Anyway, I imagine a [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] to be clever and nice. Thumbs up!
I’ve always liked [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], even though it’s gotten to be pretty popular! I love the nickname [name_m]Seb[/name_m]. [name_m]Baz[/name_m] and Bash are cool nicknames, too. I love [name_m]Bastian[/name_m] as a standalone name as well.
