Our first is [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]. I was thinking [name_u]Everett[/name_u] for this baby, but wondering if they sound too alike? He is a rainbow baby after several losses and loved that it meant “strong”

A personally find they sound too similar. Not to the point that you couldn’t use them necessarily, I just personally wouldn’t.
And I think it could work well as a middle name in your set still!

It’s too bad that [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] do sound pretty similar, because while [name_u]Avery[/name_u] seems OK to me, I adore [name_u]Everett[/name_u].
It would be cool to have a second name with that great V sound in it, but not so close to [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. I’ll ponder it and write back.
I don’t think they sound too similar but similar enough that I wouldn’t use it. While it doesn’t mean “strong” [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] means “bear” which I think has strong connotations. Also [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] is the once and future king, which has a nice way to tying the past and present together.

I love [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. However if your husband thinks they are too close, maybe you would like [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]? Or other names that came to mind include [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m], [name_m]Evander[/name_m], [name_u]Evan[/name_u], [name_m]Griffin[/name_m] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m].
