Second Girl on the Way -- Can't Choose a Name!

We had an easy time coming up with our first daughter’s name, [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (although it seems [name_f]Willa[/name_f] has gotten very popular in the last two years!). Now, though, we are expecting our second girl in [name_u]March[/name_u] and we are stuck!

All you need to know, I think, is that we are both writers so we like literary names. We want something a bit different but not totally out there. Here are our top contenders now, probably about in order:

Our worries are that [name_f]Beryl[/name_f] sounds too much like Barrel, that [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is now too popular (thanks Kardashians!), that [name_u]Carson[/name_u] (after author [name_u]Carson[/name_u] Mccullers) is too surname trendy, and that [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] doesn’t have a good nickname (and is a tad bit feminine for my tastes). Thoughts? Other suggestions? Thanks!

[name_f]Willa[/name_f] is one of my favorites! Sadly, I dislike your name list with [name_f]Willa[/name_f]. Here are names I see with [name_f]Willa[/name_f]:

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], but my husband nixed it long ago for some reason. I really like [name_f]Augusta[/name_f] - I will run that one by him!

[name_f]Willa[/name_f]'s best friends are named [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], so those are out!
