Aboustely love this name but, my sister is name [name]Sela[/name].
It would be wrong to want to name my child this same thing just spelt diffently?
The lah, at the end is the bibical spelling.

I think it’s a lovely, underused name. I actually prefer the spelling [name]Selah[/name] over [name]Sela[/name]. Good luck.
I like it. [name]Do[/name] you want to honor your sis? Bc I doubt you can avoid the association. It’s kind of nice to change the spelling to the lah ending so your child can feel like she’s named after your sis, but it’s still her own name. That being said, I kind of prefer [name]Sela[/name], but I think bc I’m more familiar with it via actress [name]Sela[/name] [name]Ward[/name]. I like all the names on your list btw!
I think it would be odd to have your baby share a name with your sister unless it’s a family tradition to share a name and even then it’s usually from one generation to the next. ie: parents, grandparents, etc.
But if you like the name, talk to her about it and see how she feels. Maybe she would be honored to have her niece share a name.
As for the other names on your list, I love [name]Arielle[/name] the most (the others are beautiful too). It’s on my list at the moment as well. Only thing is my husband has red hair and if she does too…the little mermaid idea is just too much for me. So, it’s on the “if” list.
